Overview

Launch your first outbound campaign using CallHQ to collect customer feedback or trigger personalized follow-up calls. This guide walks you through uploading contacts, selecting a voice agent (Assistant), and analyzing call outcomes.

In this quickstart, you’ll learn how to:

  • Set up an outbound calling campaign
  • Use personalized voice agents for follow-ups
  • Upload and manage a CSV contact list
  • Monitor campaign performance and track call results

Prerequisites

  • A CallHQ account
  • At least one voice assistant (AI agent) configured in your dashboard
  • A verified phone number connected to your organization
  • A CSV list of recipients (name, phone number, optional metadata)

1. Launch a Campaign

Log in to CallHQ Dashboard

Go to web.callhq.ai and log in with your credentials.

Go to Outbound Campaigns

Click Outbound Campaigns in the sidebar to enter the campaign creation section.

Create New Campaign

  • Click + New Campaign
  • Add a name (e.g. “Customer Feedback Followup”)
  • Choose the campaign type (e.g. One-time or Recurring)

Assign a Phone Number

Choose a verified number from your list (Twilio, Exotel, etc.). This will be used to initiate all outbound calls.

Upload Recipients CSV

  • Click Upload Contacts
  • Drag and drop your CSV file (must include phone number and name columns)
  • Review and map columns
  • Follow CSV formatting guidelines

Select Assistant

Choose one of your configured AI agents that will speak to customers. You can use a general feedback script or a customized prompt.

Review & Launch

  • Confirm settings, assistant selection, and contact count
  • Click Launch Campaign

2. Monitor Campaign Results

Track Campaign Overview

After launch, use the Campaign Dashboard to see:

  • Number of completed vs. pending calls
  • Real-time status updates
  • Scheduled retry logic

Inspect Call Logs

For each call, review:

  • Status (Completed, Missed, Voicemail, etc.)
  • Call duration
  • Assistant transcript
  • Voice recording (if enabled)

Cancel or Retry Calls

Cancel scheduled campaigns or retry failed ones directly from the dashboard.
